Candidate steps forward for Onchan Commissioners by-election

Publication Date: Wed, 16 May 2012

A candidate has come forward for the vacant seat on the board of Onchan Commissioners.

35 year old paramedic David Scambler has lived in the village for most of his life.

The local authority is holding a by-election on the fourteenth of June.

It's after too few candidates came forward for last month's election, leaving the board one member short.

Nomination forms are available from the Onchan District Commissioners' Office.

People have until tomorrow to complete their nomination papers.
