Radio campaign to raise awareness of elections

The Department of Local Government and the Environment hopes a radio campaign starting today will help raise awareness of the forthcoming Local Authority Elections.
The first series of adverts is aimed at encouraging candidates to stand.
A further set will try to persuade the public to vote.
The elections will take place on Thursday 24th April.
Nomination papers need to be in by Thursday 27th March.
