Liberal Vannin Party Candidate Carol Malarkey has declared that she is to contest Hills Ward in the forthcoming local elections.
Carol wife of Douglas South MHK Bill Malarkey says:- "During Bill's 18 months in office I have noticed just how many constituents turn to their MHK for help with Town Council issues whether it be street lighting or housing problems. Carol is keen to help build closer working relations between Douglas Town Council and Government and if successful feels that as a husband and wife team they will be able to effectively achieve this.
It is time to inject new blood into the Douglas Town Council and is sure that her direct approach, enthusiasm and business experience would help bring new initiatives".
